Radiologic Technologist

Role and Responsibilities:As a Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray, you will be responsible for providing mobile X-Ray and EKG services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and various other locations. Your primary tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Performing and processing X-Rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment and submitting/transmitting them to a Radiologist for interpretation
- Unloading portable X-Ray equipment and taking it into facilities to perform exams ordered by physicians
- Obtaining clinically diagnostic, technically competent X-Ray images
- Performing EKGs (as needed) and transmitting them to a Cardiologist for interpretation (if required)
- Scanning exam-related paperwork/billing documents on a daily basis per protocol
- Regularly communicating with dispatch and management
- Efficiently communicating and professionally interacting with peers, supervisory staff, and clients
- Maintaining the vehicle and X-Ray equipment
Candidate Qualifications:To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- A degree or diploma in Radiography or a related field
- Valid certification/license as a Radiologic Technologist
- Experience working in a similar role, preferably in a mobile X-Ray service
- Strong knowledge of radiographic techniques and equipment operation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Required Skills:The ideal candidate should have the following skills:
- Mobile X-Ray imaging
- Portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment operation
- EKG interpretation (if applicable)
