We are hiring a Clinical Director at Abraxas I in Marienville, PA. Here, you will be part of our behavioral healthcare team helping at-risk adolescents BUILD BETTER FUTURES.

Abraxas I provides adolescent treatment programs for substance abuse, delinquency and medically necessary mental health services. Our 90-acre campus is nestled in the Allegheny National Forest in northwestern Pennsylvania.

Clinical Director Job Duties Include:
  • Devising strategies and plans for the clinical department according to company standards for excellent service and growth.
  • Assuming responsibility of budgeting and resourcing
  • Planning and overseeing all patient care or administrative operations and programs.
  • Develops and oversees facility operational policies and procedures in accordance with appropriate standards, rules, regulations, to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinates interfacing of clinical services with educational, medical, community services, family services, and the training department
  • Prepares appropriate reports and correspondence of all treatment services in a timely manner to ensure regulatory compliance and in accordance with applicable standards of care.
  • Assesses and monitors service resource utilization and assists with performance improvement process.
  • Ensures that programming and services are appropriate to meet the needs of the clients of the facility.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Master's Degree or above from an accredited college with a major in medicine, chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing (with a specialty in nursing/health administration, nursing/counseling education or a clinical specialty in the human services), public administration, or other related field and 3 years of experience in a human service agency, which includes supervision of others, direct service and program planning.
  • Ability to participate and maintain Safe Crisis Management (SCM) certification.
  • At least twenty-one (21) years of age
  • Valid PA Driver's License
