Job Summary:
Always Best Care Senior Services is seeking a well experienced caregiver to join our team in College Park, Georgia. This part-time, hourly position will require the caregiver to work Sundays from 9 AM to 5 PM. The individual in this role will primarily provide healthcare and medical assistance to seniors in the community, ensuring their well-being and promoting independence. Compensation & Benefits:
The caregiver will receive a competitive hourly rate of $13 to $15, paid weekly. Additionally, we offer a supportive and friendly work environment, ongoing training and development opportunities, and the chance to work with a reputable and established franchise in the healthcare industry.
Responsibilities:
* Provide direct health and medical support to seniors in their homes or in assisted living facilities.
* Medication reminders and assist with managing daily prescriptions.
* Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
* Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary instructions.
* Assist with light housekeeping duties such as laundry and dishes.
* Accompany seniors to appointments or on errands.
* Communicate regularly with seniors and their families to ensure their needs are being met.
* Provide companionship and emotional support to seniors.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 1 year experience as a caregiver in a healthcare or medical setting.
* Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification preferred.
* Knowledge of basic health and medical procedures.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to lift and assist with mobility as needed.
* A compassionate and caring attitude.
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
