Professional Expectations of a paraprofessional
  • Work closely with the school's administration, Educational Coordinators and other content area specialists.
  • Participate in team meetings. Communicate and share ideas and concerns with team classroom teacher and administration.
  • Participate in staff In-Services
  • Engage in continuing education and professional development activities such as trainings, workshops, and educational classes.
Educational Requirements
  • High School Diploma
  • Associates Degree or higher (preferred)
  • Paraprofessional certificate from a state board of education (preferred)
  • Classroom experience (preferred)
