Business Object Designer and System Support with Security Clearance

Title: Business Object Designer and System Support Location: Hybrid / Alexandria, VA Hours: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday Clearance Requirements: Secret Clearance/T3 Interim Clearance US Citizenship What you will be doing: Will be responsible for leveraging your expertise in reporting and data visualization tools to extract meaningful insights from our data sets
The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of insights that support strategic decision-making
Key Responsibilities: Reporting and Analysis:
• Utilize reporting tools such as SAP Business Objects and Cognos to create comprehensive reports for stakeholders.
• Analyze data sets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement
Data Visualization:
• Develop visually appealing and informative dashboards using Power BI and Qlik Sense.
• Translate complex data sets into easily understandable visualizations for both technical and non-technical audiences
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in a Data Analyst or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in reporting tools such as SAP Business Objects and Cognos.
• Strong proficiency in SQL.
• Experience with data visualization tools, including Power BI/Tableau.
• Experience with ETL is a plus.
• Familiarity with OBIEE Reporting and data extracts, Qlik is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Two or more years of specialized knowledge in the execution and application of Federal Workers Compensation, policy and procedures as defined by the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) and Department of Defense (DoD) Civilian Personnel Services.
• Five or more years of specialized knowledge in the execution and application of processing Federal Personnel Actions as defined in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Guide for Processing Personnel Actions (GPPA).
• Five or more years with developing and managing reporting tools, specifically, Business Objects and COGNOS.
• Five or more years of professional experience working with the Defense Civilian Personnel Data System and USA Staffing.
• Five or more years of Defense Civilian Personnel Data System (DCPDS) functional processing, system administration, user account maintenance and application troubleshooting
