Effectively communicates with patients within a multi disciplinary emergency medical service provider team to facilitate optimal patient care, while maintaining standards of professional nursing. Establishes priorities for nursing action according to patient#s needs and formulates appropriate care. Performs continuous assessments and revises care based upon patient#s condition. Qualifications:# Valid New York State RN License.# ACLS, PALS, or ENPC certification.# BLS certification.# Successful completion of Critical Care course within one year of position start date.# Minimum of one year Medical/Surgical experience.# Acknowledging changes in a patient#s condition or behavior, and promptly reporting these changes to appropriate licensed nursing personnel.# Maintaining confidentiality of all patient information.# Maintaining quality assurance and compliance with all regulatory agencies.# Ability to implement and support procedures and programs pertaining to patient safety and security.# Exhibit proficient communication skills and ability to deal efficiently and effectively with a variety of personalities.# Ability to sustain attention to detail and accuracy as it pertains to the monitoring and documentation of information.# Performing various intervention tasks assigned by the charge nurse.# Maintaining a safe and clean environment for patients.# Basic computer knowledge.
