*Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg*

Auburn Community Hospital (ACH) is a not-for-profit, 99-bed acute care facility located in Auburn, New York. As the sole provider of acute and general hospital services in Cayuga County and the surrounding areas, we serve a population of approximately 80,000 throughout the Finger Lakes region.

We’re currently seeking an *Med Surg RN* to join our amazing team.

*Details of the Med Surg RN opening:*
* Anticipated start date: *ASAP*
* Salary Range: *$2,170 weekly (36 hours/days) / $2,300 weekly (36 hours/nights)*
* Anticipated duration of assignment: 13 weeks
* Anticipated schedule: *Days or Nights, 3x12s*

*Daily Range of Responsibilities of the Med Surg RN:*
* Conduct an individualized patient assessment, prioritizing the data collection based on the adult or elderly patient’s immediate condition or needs within timeframe specified by client facility’s policies, procedures or protocols.
* Develop a plan of care that is individualized for the adult or elderly patient reflecting collaboration with other members of the healthcare team.
* Perform appropriate treatments as ordered by physician in an accurate and timely manner.

*Qualifications for the Med Surg RN:*
* Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
* Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse with active license(s) in the state(s) in which employed and practices
* *Two years of current experience with Med Surg*
* *Current BLS & ACLS Certification*
* Educated on and follows HIPAA regulations; maintains strict confidentiality of client information
* Follows Infection Control, Standard Precautions and OSHA standards for the healthcare professional
