The Project Management Associate, DSE Strategic Projects, will support The Director of DSE Strategic Projects in the planning and execution of key projects that span across the entire Delivery System Engagement (DSE) - Provider Engagement team in pursuit of developing and maintaining an accessible quality network that supports the needs of all Healthfirst's members. The role will support the Director in the identification of key projects, development of project plan and approach, management of key stakeholders, and the overall delivery and execution of each project assigned.

  • Supports Director with project execution and overall coordination efforts to ensure projects are completed on schedule
  • Act as the liaison within the provider engagement team to help coordinate and execute on key strategic projects
  • Works collaboratively across the delivery system engagement team and operational teams to assist with the development of execution approaches
  • May create and maintain a project plan, while partnering with various teams cross functionally to secure tasks, and tracking key dates
  • Manages the artifacts required for governance approval for assigned projects.
  • Manages deliverables from all functional teams ensuring they meet the defined timelines
  • Reports status to Project Stakeholders; manages and escalates changes, issues, risks for resolution as needed.
  • Documents meeting minutes; Summarizes key discussions as needed
  • May assist with requesting and or analyzing data sets related to an assigned project, process or workflow
  • Executing critical thinking skills to address barriers and present potential solutions
  • Additional duties as assigned.

    Minimum Qualifications:
  • HS Diploma or GED from accredited institution
  • Experience in supporting a cross- functional team across multiple departments to achieve targeted results
  • Experience engaging and communicating with key stakeholders
  • Experience with creating and implementing project plans
  • Intermediate experience using Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Power Point

    Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Industry work experience in healthcare such as hospital, managed or long-term care, insurance, government, or other healthcare agency
  • Knowledgeable of Department of Health (DOH) and Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) regulations

Hiring Range:

Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $67,200 - $97,155All Other Locations (within approved locations): $59,800 - $88,910
As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, licenses and certifications, and any other factors Healthfirst deems pertinent to the hiring decision.
