Job Description

Flushing Hospital Medical Center is a 293-bed, not-for-profit teaching hospital. The hospital offers a variety of services for a culturally diverse community, including Bariatric Surgical Service, Ambulatory Care Center, Women's Health Center, Wound Care Center, and Chemical Dependence Unit. Our busy on-site full-service pharmacy provides prescription services to discharged, emergency department, and clinic patients as well as employees.We're looking for Registered Nurses with a current New York State license. Our ideal will have than be quick-thinking, with strong assessment skills, and the ability to work quickly and effectively under pressure.

As a PACU RN, you will provide care and treatment to ill, injured, and recovering adult patients.
  • Assessing patient conditions.
  • Administering medications.
  • Changing dressings.
  • Monitoring patient vital signs.
  • Charting and keeping records.
  • Providing patients with support and education

Requirements

  • NYS RN LICENSE REQUIRED
  • MINIMUM 2 YEARS MED/SURG EXp
  • PACU EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
  • BCLS REQUIRED
  • GOOD CRITCAL THINKING, ORGANIZATIONAL, INTERPERSONAL AND COMMUNICATION SKILS REQUIRED
  • BSN PREFERRED

SALARY

$53.13- $ 67.75 per hour including education and applicable experience
