   - Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility.

 

**2. Documentation:**

   - Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including medical histories, care plans, and medication administration records.

   - Report and document any incidents, changes in condition, or concerns related to residents' health and well-being.

 

**3. Collaboration:**

   - Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including registered nurses, physicians, therapists, and certified nursing assistants (CNAs), to provide comprehensive care.

   - Communicate effectively with the healthcare team and families to ensure that residents' needs are met.

 

**4. Infection Control:**

   - Follow strict infection control practices and maintain a clean and sanitary environment to prevent the spread of infections.

   - Adhere to facility policies and procedures related to infection control.

 

**5. Emergency Response:**

   - Be prepared to respond to medical emergencies, including performing CPR and other life-saving measures when necessary.

   - Follow facility protocols for handling emergencies and notifying appropriate personnel.

 

**6. Quality of Care:**

   - Ensure that residents receive high-quality care, dignity, and respect, and advocate for their well-being.

   - Identify and address any issues or concerns related to patient care and facility operations.

 

**7. Education and Compliance:**

   - Stay up-to-date with nursing practices, regulations, and facility policies.

   - Maintain licensure and certifications as required by state regulations.
