We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Outpatient Clinic. This is a permanent, full-time position with a Monday through Friday schedule on day shifts. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be at the forefront of delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced outpatient setting. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, while enjoying a rewarding work-life balance with a predictable schedule and no weekend shifts.
Responsibilities
As an Outpatient Clinic Registered Nurse, your primary responsibilities will include
- Providing direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles.
- Conducting initial assessments of patients, including taking vital signs, documenting patient history, and identifying any health risks.
- Developing and implementing patient care plans, and maintaining accurate medical records.
- Administering medications, wound care, and other personalized interventions as ordered by care providers.
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to oversee patient care and ensure the best possible outcomes.
- Educating patients and their families on disease prevention, medical conditions, and the proper use of prescribed treatments and drugs.
- Responding to emergencies and coordinating with other healthcare professionals as needed.
- Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the level of patient care.
To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications
- Current and valid RN license in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in an outpatient clinic or FQHC setting.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Strong clinical skills with an emphasis on patient-centered care.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Commitment to adhering to the highest standards of nursing practices and ethical conduct.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish a huge plus.
