Duties
• You will share in the direction of command administrative services, manpower management, Reserve Component (RC) program management and logistics support.
• You will supervise, direct, and coordinate execution of command service functions including logistics; travel; supply support; contracted services, financial readiness; and current year budget execution service.
• You will implement administrative and logistics operations control and accountability to ensure resources are used in compliance with laws and regulations with minimal potential for waste, fraud, and mismanagement.
• You will develop performance plans, evaluate work performance of subordinates, complete appraisals and provide recommended ratings of record.
• You will serve as chief advisor to the Commander and executive leadership in matters concerning administrative and personnel activities of the staff.
• You will serve as advisor to the Commander and executive leadership for plans, program, policy, guidance, and specific procedures relative to military manpower programming and staffing

• You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites
You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics
You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101
Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
• Experience applying knowledge of the Navy management practices; and management principles to identify and recommend solutions to improve organizational structure, effectiveness and efficiencies.
• Experience applying knowledge of Reserve Component employment and funding including Annual Training (AT), Active Duty for Training (ADT) and Inactive Duty for Training Travel (IDTT)
• Experience utilizing the Navy Total Force Manpower Management System and knowledge of coding requirement for manpower updates.
• Experience applying knowledge of regulations/directives, and information systems applicable to civilian and military personnel management.
• Experience applying knowledge of Defense Travel System (DTS) rules and policy to authorize travel, complete travel documents (travel advances, arrangements, travel claims.
