Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer with a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with a proven track record of at least 10 years in network engineering
The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of network architecture, protocols, and security measures to design, implement, and manage complex network infrastructures
Responsibilities:

Network Design and Implementation: Design, plan, and implement scalable, secure, and reliable network architectures that meet business needs and support future growth.

Network Maintenance and Optimization: Perform ongoing monitoring, maintenance, and optimization of network infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security.

Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Diagnose and resolve complex network issues in a timely manner, collaborating with cross-functional teams and vendors when necessary.

Network Security: Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection systems, and access controls to safeguard against cyber threats and vulnerabilities.

Network Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures
Generate reports and present findings to stakeholders.

Network Upgrades and Expansion: Evaluate and recommend network hardware, software, and technologies to support the organization's growth and technological advancements.

Collaboration and Team Leadership: Collaborate with other IT teams and departments to ensure seamless integration of network systems
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior network engineers.

Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure network infrastructure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices
Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in the field of networking
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Advanced certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in network engineering or a related field, with a proven track record of successful project implementations and management of enterprise-level networks.
- Proficiency in designing, implementing, and managing complex network infrastructures, including LANs, WANs, VPNs, and wireless networks.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, and VLANs.
- Experience with network security principles and technologies, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and access control lists.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot network-related issues effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with cloud networking, SD-WAN, and software-defined networking is a plus.
