MRI TECHNOLOGIST

The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of complex specialized tasks associated with the operation of MRI scanners and related equipment. They will utilize Magnetic Resonance Imaging to assist medical and professional personnel in detecting anatomical abnormalities while complying with Conway Regional Health System policies and procedures. Through documentation and oral communication, essential information is shared with professional/technical health care personnel. The registered MRI Technologist will maintain their professional level of expertise as required by Conway Regional Health System policy. Will be responsible for verifying orders, charging procedures, working knowledge of PACS system, and transport of patients with all necessary paperwork completed.
SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION:
This position is a designated as Safety Sensitive Position under Act 593 of the State of Arkansas. An employee who is under the influence of Marijuana constitutes a threat to patients/customers which Conway Regional is responsible for in providing and supporting the delivery health care related services.
Qualifications
MRI Credentialed through ARRT preferred
ARRT Credentialed in MRI and /or Radiography required
Arkansas State License if credentialed in Radiography
Successful completion of American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers prior to completion of orientation
Other education and experience may be substituted (if applicable) for the required minimum job qualifications with the approval of the Corporate Director of Human Resources.
