The Crown Is Yours

We are seeking a Manager, Physical Security to take charge of the security operations for our offices and Retail Sportsbook locations. In this role, you will lead and mentor a team of security professionals, ensuring the safety and protection of our employees and assets. You'll be instrumental in developing and implementing effective physical security strategies and emergency response plans. Your expertise will play a critical role in maintaining robust communication and coordination across various locations, making a significant impact on the overall security and success of our organization. 

What you’ll do as a Manager, Physical Security
  • Develop and implement global physical security policies, procedures, and standards to protect company assets, employees, and visitors.

  • Ensure a timely and complete response to emergency situations including fire alarms, intrusions, power outages, and other life safety incidents. 

  • Maintain robust and continuous communications between the sportsbooks and GSOC staff. 

  • Develop and refine Physical Security Standard Operating Procedures, Emergency Operation Plans, and other security procedures related to DK locations.

  • Hold responsibility for all physical access control processes and responses to alarms from these systems.

  • Provide security education and training to employees on security policies, procedures, and awareness.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on physical security and life safety matters and provide guidance and recommendations, where appropriate. 

  • Communicate with regulators, gaming boards, and other law enforcement agencies, as needed.

 

What you’ll bring   
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience with at least 5 years of experience managing Physical Security Operations in a corporate environment.

  • Experience with retail operations, including a casino environment (kiosk and cash movement management) is a plus. 

  • Direct management and supervisory experience is required.

  • Strong communication skills coupled with a team player mentality and track record of building strong relationships.

  • Experience with access control and video management systems.

  • Ability to pass a thorough background investigation and obtain licensure approval with various gaming boards and regulators.

  • This role is a hybrid role (3 - 4 days in the office) and will require evening, weekend, and holiday working hours with occasional domestic and international business travel.

Join Our Team

We’re a publicly traded (NASDAQ: DKNG) technology company headquartered in Boston. As a regulated gaming company, you may be required to obtain a gaming license issued by the appropriate state agency as a condition of employment. Don’t worry, we’ll guide you through the process if this is relevant to your role.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $120,000.00 - $180,000.00, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
