Description Seeking policy and governance professionals to execute oversight responsibilities and provide first-class policy management services
These professionals will improve governance and quality of policy documents for our clients
We have a team that aims to adapt, design, deliver, and integrate advanced technology solutions to improve data sharing, exploitation, and analysis
As a Policy Analyst, you will interpret business needs and project requirements and select appropriate responses to data and information sharing challenges
You will work with key business stakeholders, IT experts, and subject-matter experts to plan and deliver optimal data solutions for specific use cases
You will also perform non-technical analyses on project issues and help to ensure technical implementations follow data management expectations
Qualifications Qualifications:
• Active TS-SCI clearance
• Bachelor's Degree in Public Policy, Political Science or International Relations, or related degree program from an Accredited University/School/College with 2+ years demonstrated policy and requirements management experience.
• Solid understanding of the policy development, analytical tradecraft, and change management process.
• Experience working with technical POCs to translate operations concept, system and product designs, and requirements into developing policy documents.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively work with and communicate with all levels of management and individual contributors on the program team.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, and coordinating policy requirements across various stakeholders.
• Proficient organization and communication skills.
• Comfortable with daily client engagement
Preferred Qualifications :
• Master's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Familiarity and experience with the Intelligence Community (IC), and the intel cycle.
• Familiarity and experience with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
• Experience in policy development and experience providing technical direction and clarification of requirements to data science, data analysis, data engineering, integration and test teams in a predominantly Agile environment.
• Experience working with systems engineering functions including operations concept development, system and product design, requirements management, technical risk management, interface definition and control.
• Knowledge of and experience working in requirements management tools (Jira, Confluence, MS Teams, Agile Manager, etc.).
• Policy and Governance experience on a large government software or data analytic development contract.
