**Overview**

Saint Joseph East is a 217-bed full-service community hospital located in the rapidly growing southeastern section of Lexington Kentucky. We provide care for patients in Fayette and surrounding counties. At Saint Joseph East ambulatory surgery 24-hour emergency care and women's health services are supported through a vast array of inpatient and outpatient program. Additional specialty services include Heart Care Breast Care Sleep Care and Weight Loss Surgery. CHI Saint Joseph Health supports 5000 active employees 8 hospitals specialty clinics and a Medical Group with more than 200 locations across Central and Eastern KY. **Responsibilities**

**Expectations**

+ Patience and focus to constantly monitor high acuity patients

+ Proven ability to think and react quickly in critical or emergency situations

+ Medication evaluation, administration, and education specific to the patient's custom care plan

+ Facilitate education to patients and caregivers concerning condition, treatment plan, and prevention (if appropriate)

+ Actively participate in decisions affecting your practice environment for excellence in delivering quality care to patients in a PACU setting

**Qualifications**

**Minimum Qualifications:**

+ Associate's Degree (ADN) in Nursing from an accredited nursing college or program

+ Active Registered Nurse (RN) license cleared by the Kentucky Board of Nursing or with eNLC multi-state practice privilege

+ Basic Life Support (BLS)

+ 1 year of RN experience within PACU and/or ICU setting _strongly preferred_

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)

+ CPAN or CAPA certification

**Pay Range**

$30.00 - $43.50 /hour
