We are looking for exceptional people to provide extraordinary care as a Registered Nurse in our Outpatient Services Unit.

Hours: PRN (as needed).

This professional provides planned and highly skilled nursing care for immediate pre-operative and post-operative patients. Through continuous patient surveillance, allows for early recognition of medical or surgical complications, which may arise in any patient.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

* Admits patient to pre-op area, performs and documents assessments.
* Receives patient from surgery and evaluates needs of patient, administering care accordingly.
* Assesses and documents patient status. Evaluates nursing goals, care plan and outcomes.
* Performs pre- and post-operative assessments and teaching.

Requirements

* Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and currently licensed to practice in the State of Nebraska as a Registered Nurse. Current licensure from a compact state requires Nebraska to be declared as their primary state of residence within thirty (30) days and must also obtain a Nebraska temporary permit or nursing license.
* Current BLS required at time of hire.
* ACLS and PALS required within 90 days of employment.
* Prefer PACU and/or recovery care experience.
