**Responsibilities**

Under the supervision of a nurse, provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.

+ Complete assigned nursing orders as directed by preceptor, including assisting patient with activities of daily living and taking vital signs.

+ Observe patient status and responses. Document and report observations to preceptor or other appropriate staff.

+ Assist preceptor with development of care plan by reporting test results and patient observations.

+ Perform other tasks as assigned, including environmental services and preparing/transporting patients for diagnostic services.

**Requirements**

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

+ BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

+ High school diploma/GED required.

+ Enrolled in Nursing program.

**Additional Preferences**

+ Graduation from nursing school within 12-18 months.

+ Minimum 2 - 8-12 hour shifts per pay period, no holidays.

+ Shifts available: 7 am - 3:30 pm, 7 am - 7:30 pm, 3 pm - 11:30 pm, 7 pm - 7:30 am and/or 11 pm - 7:30 am

+ Starting Date: June 24, 2024

+ Requires 5 days of orientation the first week.
