Director of Cardiac Cath Lab

Riverside Community Hospital

Full-Time - No Weekends

Founded in 1901, Riverside Community Hospital is a 470+ bed, full-service acute care hospital. We are in the heart of the Inland Empire. Our facility houses the largest Emergency Room and Trauma Center in the Inland Empire and is one of Riverside County's only STEMI (heart attack) receiving center. We are also a fully accredited Chest Pain Center. Riverside Hospital is Gold Seal Certified by The Joint Commission in Total Hip and Total Knee replacement and is an A graded hospital in patient safety by The Leapfrog Group. Our facility includes The HeartCare Institute which offers invasive and non-invasive cardiac procedures, The Center of Excellence for Surgical Weight Loss, and a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Our Transplant Program is certified by Medicare to perform kidney and pancreas transplantation.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Middle management position with 24-hour responsibility for assigned patient care areas. The Director will promote professional practice, and coordinate patient care activities in areas of administration, clinical, and human resources. This position required an advanced level of management expertise as demonstrated through leadership, departmental functioning and educational preparation. Plans and facilitates program development, fiscal planning and management of the Cardiology Services. Directs and coordinates the activities of Cardiac Services to include, Invasive and Non-Invasive Cardiology, Cardiac Rehab, and programmatic responsibilities for EKG and Echo services. Establishes departmental procedures within the framework established by the Hospital Administration and coordinates the needs established by the Medical Staff.

What qualifications you will need:

• Current Valid California RN License (will not accept Pending Licensure)

• Current BCLS Certification

• Current ACLS Certification

• Graduate of accredited School of Nursing

• Enrollment in BS Degree program or BSN required. Master's Degree preferred

• Minimum of 5 years recent experience in Acute Care Cardiac Cath Lab

General Comments

Salary Range: $122,470 - $183,726.40

Sign-On Bonus: Case by Case Basis

Relocation: Case by Case Basis

Fee: $19,000
