Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior Linux Systems Administrator to join a 5-year DoD program supporting the Military in Dahlgren, VA
The Senior Linux Systems Administrator must be ok with 100% onsite work
MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE TS/SCI CLEARANCE Responsibilities of the Senior Linux Systems Administrator:
• Use detailed understanding of Windows and Linux systems to perform systems administration.
* Operate, administer, and upgrade computer systems, devices, and software to include configuration, integration with storage and networking, load balancing and optimization, patching, software installation, updating, backup, restoration, and electronic and manual data transfer.
* Create, maintain, and update Ansible plays and/or playbook.
* Perform Ansible scripting for automated configuration management.
Qualifications for the Senior Linux Systems Administrator include:
• 5-7+ years of experience in Linux Administration
* Experience with containerization (Rancher, Kubernetes, Docker).
* Scripting experience in Python, PowerShell or similar tool.
* Certification - MUST have an IAT Level II Certification such as a CompTIA Security+ CE (or an equivalent/higher level certification)
* Clearance - MUST have an Active TS/SCI clearance
Compensation for the Senior Linux Systems Administrator:
• Salary Range: $115,000 - $125,000 **depending on experiences & non-negotiable above this range**
