Avera is currently seeking Registered Nurses (RN) looking to deliver the best possible nursing care in Avera's patient-focused settings.

Job Summary

* The Registered Nurse in the Med-Surg Unit is accountable for the safe, individualized, efficient, and effective management and delivery of nursing care for hospitalized inpatients and hospital-based outpatients.

Education and/or Experience

* Graduate from an accredited school of nursing required.
* Minnimum of 1-2 years Med/Surg experience requried.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

* Licensed as a registered nurse in the State of Minnesota required upon hire.
* Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire.
* Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required within one year of hire.
* Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) required within one year of hire.

Work Schedule

* Varied Shifts; PRN, as needed, casual requirements per department policy
