* Schedule: Full time, 40 hours, This position staffs Monday-Friday, eight-hour shifts, start times may vary depending on the surgical schedule. This position also includes on-call hours. On-call requirements may be one to two times per week and every third or fourth weekend.

Responsibilities

Facilitate the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures.

* Prepare surgical operating suite with sterile and non-sterile instruments and supplies.
* Hands required and requested instruments and supplies to surgeon during surgery.
* Assist with preparing, transporting, positioning and draping patients.
* Maintain instruments in an organized manner and monitor and track instruments counts throughout procedures.
* Assist surgeons provision of hemostasis during surgery.

Requirements

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

* BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

* High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Additional Preferences

1 year experience in the O.R, experience with GYN, Ortho, General, Podiatry, Urology, and ENT. Robotic experience preferred.
