Job Title Coordinator (LPN) Department Internal Medicine - 31510 Pay Grade 9 Job Category Administrative Job Summary
The Department of Internal Medicine is accepting applications for a Coordinator ( LPN ). This role involves coordinating and managing various aspects of HIV patient care. Responsibilities include organizing clinic encounters, collaborating with physicians, planning discharge arrangements, and coordinating hospital admissions. The position also entails educating patients and caregivers about HIV / AIDS , medication compliance, and maintaining a database for patient records. Additionally, the role involves interpreting clinical and laboratory data to assist in clinical decision-making and addressing incoming data and patient issues in consultation with medical professionals.
Position contingent upon grant funding

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of patient care regimens in HIV / AIDS patients.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Knowledge of medication compliance.
- Ability to be resourceful, flexible and self-motivated.
- Tennessee licensure as an LPN
- 3 years' experience in the clinical environment
- Knowledge of HIV / AIDS patients
- 5 years' experience in the clinical environment
