TRAINING INSTRUCTOR

Duties
• You will perform duties a s a Diving Supervisor
for diving operations.
• You will perform duties as a Safety Diver for training device 9D6 operations.
• You will perform duties as the Primarily Instructor, Training Assistant, Safety Swimmer, Training Device Operator, Instructor Evaluator, and Lifeguard for aviation survival training.
• You will perform other maintenance, safety, or administrative duties pertaining to classroom as assigned
Requirements Conditions of Employment

• Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
• Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

• You will be required to obtain and maintain a current High Risk Instructor certification.

• You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
• You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty
Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
• Inspecting and maintaining installed diving system and diving equipment
• Instructing underwater egress, underwater breathing, and survival swimming techniques
• Operating training devices or simulators in accordance with established guidelines
• Maintaining diving qualifications for operational readiness inspections and safety surveys
