Job Description:

$20,000 Sign-On Bonus for External Candidates

Full-Time 7a - 7p

The RN is responsible for managing and providing nursing care for the patient populations on the unit. This includes the immediate, short-term nursing care needs of patients as well as, planning for long-term needs. The KY Nurse Practice Act and established Hardin policies, procedures and standards of practice, determine the nurse's scope of practice.

REQUIREMENTS:

* Graduate of school of nursing with current unrestricted Kentucky license required, or higher.


* One-year clinical experience as Registered Nurse required.


* Ability to work well under stress and possess effective communication skills is required.


* BLS preferred upon hire, required within 90 days of hire.


* PALS preferred upon hire, required within one year of hire.



PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

* Previous ambulatory care, med/surg and telemetry experience preferred.
