Summary:

Provides specialized clinical activities relating to designated clinical programs in order to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Performs various types of medication utilization activities within a defined area, including but not limited to anticoagulation, pharmacokinetics, dose adjustments, order verification, and IV to PO-conversions. Participates in committees and represents the department of pharmacy throughout the hospital or ambulatory settings within the area of focus.

This position will cover the critical care units in the hospital, They will work on the units directly with providers and nurses to optimize patient care, help troubleshoot medication issues and provide overall pharmaceutical support to the trauma, medical and neuro ICUs.
