For more than 35 years, we've developed programs to meet the diverse needs of clients with moderate to severe traumatic and acquired brain injuries. We provide treatment for post-concussion syndrome, stroke, memory loss, neurobehavioral issues and accident or sports-related head injuries.

Hourly rates start at $17 per hour, with potential increases based on education and experience.

Responsibilities

ReMed offers a wide range of settings where clinical and professional skills can be developed.

We are searching for part and full-time Overnight Direct Support Professionals to work in our residential programs located in Malvern, PA.

* This position provides minimum to maximum assistance and/or supervision to promote our clients' success in daily living tasks, recreational activities and vocational pursuits.
* Responsibilities include assisting clients with personal care and hygiene, therapies, and driving and accompanying clients to appointments, activities and other outings.
* Candidates must be comfortable working with a variety of medically complicated and behaviorally challenged clients.

Qualifications

* A minimum of a HS Diploma or GED is required; an associate's or bachelor's degree is preferred*
* Must be at least 18 years of age
* Must have a valid driver's license and responsible driving behaviors must be maintained
* Competence in writing, planning, organization and documentation, as well as time management skills are required.
* The ability to communicate with families, professionals and co-workers is a must. The ability to demonstrate positive client interaction skills is essential.
* Ability to lift 50lbs
* Diplomas from non-U.S. educational institutions must include professional documentation/evaluation that the non-U.S. educational program is equivalent to or exceeds U.S. educational requirements; documentation is required prior to becoming an employee
