Unit staffing description- US every day, PRN techs
Type of equipment: Basic equipment - Welch Allyn VS Carts, Hoyer Lift, Broda Chairs, Alaris IV Pumps
Documentation system: Meditech
Scheduling requirements: 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week period
Floating policy: Will float over core staff
Patient Experience requirements: Bedside shift report, safety checks q1-2h, focus on listening and responsiveness
Must have COVID Vaccine

Certifications: BLS, NIHSS
Hiring profile
Requested Skill Set:
Able to perform basic patient assessments, general care and maintenance of the following: Wounds, Tracheostomy, Ostomy, Drains, Chest Tubes. Patient population has at times will require dialysis or PCA pumps. Only drip is Heparin.
Post-Op procedures on unit:
Amputations, ostomy, drains, chest tubes, and wound vacs.
Dress Code:
Scrubs Navy, Blue, White, Black, Gray, Ceil Blue
Unit Guidelines/Policies: Packet attached
HAI prevention CVC and Foley monitoring with standard precautions
Fall prevention
DCL Lounge/Throughput
100% Medication Scanning, including controlled substances
Attendance per policy

Charges are supportive and experienced, along with leadership to allow for smooth introduction to 11 Tower.
