This position is remote, however, the candidate would need to sit near Boston, MA to support clients in Eastern New England and when needed, to go into the office for company meetings. Job Description:The Team Lead will support the Region's Equipment Breakdown engagements for the Northeast operations. They are accountable for working with the Regional RE Manager to set the appropriate tactics to achieve business imperatives for internal and external customers. The individual will leverage various RE resources within their assigned territory. Direct reports will include EBs within the Region. Team Leaders maintain personal ownership of their individual field responsibilities, technical expertise, and production requirements at 50%.Additional Team Lead responsibilities include:Support the performance management process by conducting direct report performance reviews and providing input regarding merit/bonus/equity awards and performance differentiation.Collaborate, lead and/or present during regional learning events and annual meetingOversee effective alignment with branch underwriting business partnersEffectively support workload distribution and assignmentsMaintain involvement in Enterprise and other New Business discussions to ensure proper resource allocation and adequate workload managementEnsure Continuing Educational and Training Requirements/Needs are metEffectively support the deployment & adoption of RE system applications updatesQuality auditing of GP2 risk evaluation reports to ensure compliance with published guidelines and standards Knowledge & Skills:Managerial and technical competencies to manage a diverse RES staffDemonstrated skill in conducting surveys, service, training, business acumen and mentorshipCapabilities to assist and deliver on client service account needs.Communicate RES PC capabilities and expertise to both internal and external customers.Education & CertificationAn ideal candidate would be an EBRE with 8+ years of field experience.  A strong proficiency should be demonstrated for jurisdictional inspections, survey work and accident investigations.  Demonstrated skills regarding coaching, development of others, quality reviews, joint travel and training are required for this role.The team lead should be commissioned, or able to become quickly commissioned, in all required states.  They should have a strong equipment breakdown background and understanding of NB and state boiler codes, along with strong relationships with boiler chiefs.  They should demonstrate good relationships with branch, region and national UW partners.  They should have expertise in various industry practice areas.Demonstrated successful staff management and/or leadership skills through regional or division projects and coaching/mentoring of junior staff. Excellent time management and communication skills, both written and oral.Commitment to continuous professional development demonstrated through designations is highly desired.Job Field: Risk ConsultingTravel: Yes, 25 % of the Time
