Job Summary:

HCA Florida Destin- Fort Walton Beach Hospital and Forward Pathology Solutions are seeking a Pathologist to join our established program in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.

Qualified Candidates:

* Board certified in AP/CP
* Florida license or have FCVS in place is a plus
* Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 am - 5 pm
* Call is shared among several pathologists
* Sub-specialty training / certification is also highly desirable with experience / interest in Hem/Onc, Gynecologic, GI, Liver, GYN, complex cancers, and general surgical pathology for a community-based hospital

About HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital:

* FWDH: 309 bed HCA level 2 trauma facility (expansion underway adding an additional 30 beds next year)
* Medical ICU- 33 beds (plus an additional 8 CVICU beds)
* Stealth navigation system with O arm and Mazor spine robot
* Certified primary stroke center working towards comprehensive stroke certification
* Currently hosting 3rd and 4th year D.O. students from Auburn's VCOM (D.O.) School
* Will have IM residency program in 2024
