Nurse Educator

* Collaborates with other Nurse Educators to ensure high quality, evidence programs are being implemented.
* Facilitates licensed and unlicensed Orientation, providing an appropriate learning environment for new hires including, but not limited to, LPN/RN/PT/PTA's.
* Serves as a primary resource for new hires for clinical competency.
* Documents competencies for new hires and transfers.
* Collaborates with Human Resources & departmental team to schedule orientation.
* Demonstrates HH clinical skills to new hires/transfers as outlined by ACHC guidelines and validates initial employee competency.
* Creates and completes classes and on-going learning for Home Health clinical staff.
* Participates in Performance Improvement initiatives in the department.
* Participates with the McLeod Health Training Center for BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications, instructing classes, mentoring other instructors, serving as a resource for students.
* Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Training:

* Minimum of 5 years of related work experience and/or training

Education/Certifications/Licenses:

* RN License
* BLS certification
