Description

The City of West Fargo Public Works Sanitation Department is seeking one part-time or full-time, seasonal laborer (non-permanent) from June through August 2024.

  • Part-time working hours can be flexible based on your availability, inquire for more details.

  • Full-time Summer hours would consist of 5 days working 8 hours shifts, 7;00AM-3:30PM

  • Transfer Station operating hours 7:30AM-3:30PM, Monday - Friday.
  • Start and end dates can be flexible to work with your schedule.

Examples Of Duties

Transfer Station Assistant - Age 16+ required

Hours available June - August (early September)

Includes assisting residents with directions to dispose waste, cleaning up debris from the transfer station site, inspecting incoming loads, trimming fence lines and around buildings, assisting the Transfer Station Attendant with housekeeping duties at the transfer station. This position seeks a candidate with the ability to work with little supervision and be able to complete tasks once given direction. They will be expected to have good communication skills and be courteous in the interactions with the public on a day to day basis.

Wage: $16 per hour
