Supports onsite, hands-on client engagement management by running the engagement projects or workstreams.  Guides day-to-day work efforts for one or more workstreams and coordinates with other workstream leaders to ensure a comprehensive solution.  Primary troubleshooter for daily project issue and risks.  They generate proposals with the team, ensuring appropriate solutions to problems, and implement decisions on the way forward by acting as liaisons between the client and the delivery team. Focused primarily on successful delivery but utilizes their position to identify client needs and relationships and good will with the client.  Senior Consultants keep in close contact with clients throughout the duration of the project as part of their official duties. Senior Consultants require approval from their management prior to making any significant change to a given program. ResponsibilitiesClient Delivery:Facilitate sections of strategy, roadmap, design, and planning workshopsEnsure that customer expectations are appropriately set and managedLead technical project teams in the delivery of consulting service offeringsDrive and manage the objectives, requirements gathering, project tasks/milestone, project status, dependencies, and timelines, to ensure engagements are delivered successfully and on time while meeting the business objectivesBreaks down the problem into manageable segments, identifies the factors that affect the problem and decides how to approach the projectCreation and editing on project deliverablesPresentation of deliverables to client executive managementBusiness Development:On occasion, support business development pursuits through client discovery meetings that help qualify opportunities and allow the ideation of a strawman proposalOn occasion, represent service offerings during the sales cycle, including project scoping, proposal development, and presenting proposals to clientsPractice Development & Thought Leadership:Participate in the development and enhancement of AHEAD Advisory services offerings, including consulting offerings and deployment servicesTechnology thought leader and evangelistMaintain a broad knowledge and understanding of the current and anticipated future state of the IT marketplace including IT trends, technologies, and standardsMentor to team membersQualificationsMinimum ten years of experience as senior information technology leaderMinimum of three years of executive technology consulting experienceUndergraduate degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or similar disciplineExcellent verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated Business AcumenAbility to solve complex, abstract problemsExcellent interpersonal skills, good listener, ability to connect with different personalitiesExecutive presenceDemonstrated experience as a technology change agentMBA is a plus
