PSV has an exciting employment opportunity for an experienced PACU Registered Nurse to support their Ambulatory Surgery Center. PSV RN's provide knowledgeable and caring clinical practice and care coordination through an understanding of patient, family, nurse and healthcare delivery team. This role is a PRN.

Job Description
The PACU RN's duties will include, but are not limited to:
  • Monitoring post-op patients during recovery in an outpatient setting
  • Monitoring vital signs
  • Administering necessary medications
  • Pain assessment
  • Educating patients and their families about homecare instructions
Minimum Qualifications Required
  • Registered Nurse currently licensed in Virginia
  • Graduated from an approved school of nursing
  • Three (3) years OR, PACU, PICU, and/or NICU experience
  • Current CPR certification
  • All employees must pass an employment TB, drug and physical exam

BSN (preferred)
