Job Overview:

RWJ Barnabas Health is looking to add a qualified full-time Occupational Therapist in New Brunswick, NJ.

Qualifications:

Required:

* Rotating weekend availability is required
* Graduate of accredited program in Occupational Therapy at the baccalaureate or post baccalaureate level required

Preferred:

* Active membership in a professional organization is encouraged

Certifications and Licenses Required:

* New Jersey board license required
* Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association required

Scheduling Requirements:

* Day Shift, 40 hours/week
* Full Time Schedule

Essential Functions:

* Responsible for evaluation and treatment of patients in the acute care setting,

* Patient and family intervention on all nursing units including, but not limited to orthopedics, neurology, neurosurgery, oncology, cardiac, critical care, trauma, general medicine and telemetry, emergency department and pediatrics,

* Strong teamwork, communication and documentation skills required for intra disciplinary and interdisciplinary communication,
