Job Description
* Must have an active (or ability to obtain and maintain) TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance *
The purpose of this position is to promote a safe work environment. These problems include but are not limited to prevention of human injury, environmental degradation and unsafe working conditions/practices. This is done through health, safety and environmental training, programs, and processes with a visible and uncompromised commitment to the protection of the environment as well as the productivity of the Company's employees.
* Maintain a fundamental knowledge of Company specific Environmental, Safety, & Health (ESH) standards, programs and goals by applying elementary ESH procedures as established by the Company on a project site or in an office through training
* Assess whether project site adheres to Company and regulatory ESH standards and guidelines
* Promote ESH standards and goals with programs throughout the Company and/or project to foster a safe and productive work environment
* Provide support in the development of simple ESH project plans and development of simple ESH specifications
* Maintain simple reports or documents that may be required to meet corporate or regulatory requirements, including monitoring application of ESH standards and goals
* Adhere to and support Fluor's Environmental, Safety, & Health and Sustainability Policies
* Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications
* Basic computer and software skills to include the use of word processing and email as well as the intermediate use of spreadsheets and electronic presentations.
* ESH certifications: OSHA 10/30, HAZWOPER, USACE EM-385, Environmental or Industrial Hygiene courses
* Associate Safety Professional (ASP) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
* Working knowledge of Federal, State, and Environmental regulations (OSHA, EPA, DOT, Air Quality)
* Bilingual (English / Spanish)
* Ability to deliver presentations and training content to internal and external customers.
* Analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
