Job Summary:

:Interim HealthCare is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced ICU, Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Charlottesville, Virginia. This is a full time contracted position with a pay rate of $46 per hour with night shift availability. You must have 2 years of recent and relevant experience.

Compensation & Benefits:

* Competitive hourly compensation of $46/hr

Responsibilities:

* Provide high-quality care to critically ill patients in the intensive care unit.
* Monitor and assess patients' conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team.
* Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by the physician.
* Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
* Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures.
* Educate patients and their families about the care plan and effectively communicate any changes or updates.
* Document all patient care activities accurately and promptly.
* Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
* Ensure patient safety and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements:

* Valid RN license in the state of Virginia
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU setting
* BLS and ACLS certifications
* Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
* Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
