Purpose of Position or Position Summary:

The Hospital Paramedic is responsible for performing quality patient care in an expanded in-hospital scope of practice in accordance with Maine EMS Treatment Protocols, Maine EMS PIFT protocols, physician orders, procedures, and established standards and administrative protocols.

Position Minimum Requirements

Education/License

* Successful completion of Paramedic level training
* Current Maine State Licensed Paramedic
* ACLS, PALS and BLS Certification
* Maine PIFT Certification
* Advanced Paramedic Certifications preferred (CCEMT-P,FP-C)

Experience

* Minimum 5 years as a practicing pre-hospital Paramedic

Skills
