The Peninsula Chicago is seeking a Part Time Massage Therapist to join our Spa team and be an integral part of our guest-focused service.

Key accountabilities

* Provide academic/theoretical and practical muscular/skeletal knowledge to practice
* Provide the highest quality massage therapy/bodywork to those who seek professional service
* Demonstrate professional excellence through regular self-assessment of strengths, limitations, and effectiveness by continued education and training.
* Conduct all business and professional activities within their scope of practice, the law of the land, and project a professional image
* Accept responsibility to do no harm to the physical, mental and emotional well being of self, clients, and associates
* Comply with all company safety rules
* Use all required safety devices and personal protective equipment
* Maintain consistency in performance in accordance with Peninsula standards
* Communicate with all departments to create a guest centric experience
* Ensure efficient operation of the Spa Desk responsibilities with efficient handover

General requirements

* 2 years of massage therapy experience, luxury property ideal
* Respect the confidential nature of the professional relationship with a client and respect each client's right to privacy
* CPR certification, proper licensing and are qualified to perform the specific types of massages.
* Ability to deal with a high level of work demand and pressure, individual must have great organization skills
* Demonstrates positive attitude and actions through a display of courtesy, service, cooperation, hospitality, sensitivity and professionalism to internal and external clients.
* Excellent command of written and spoken English
