Position Overview:

Utilizes extended and expanded skills, experience and knowledge in assessment, planning, implementation, diagnosis and evaluation of the care required within the Cardiac Cath Lab. Accountable for the coordination of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education and transitions of care. In partnership with the care team, the RN delivers holistic and individualized care to patients in an assigned specialty area. Develops, implements, and coordinates a plan of care that incorporates psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and life-style factors. Fosters and maintains collaborative relationships between patients, their family/support group, physicians, and other healthcare providers through timely and effective communications.

Job Description:

EDUCATION

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

Preferred: Bachelor's degree

CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE

RN-Registered Nurse of California

BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider

ACLS- Adult Cardiac Life Support

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:

1+ years of critical care experience as a registered nurse providing specialized care for patients in an acute care unit.

1+ years of Cath Lab experience

Pay Range is $79.37 to $104.76 / hour

The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
