RN Residency Program - Asheville, NC - Sign-on Bonus available

Job Type: Full-time. (Perm)
Location: Asheville, NC
Shifts: Mixed Shifts (Rotating Weekend).
Shift differentials: $4 for 2nd, $6 for 3rd and $3.50 weekends
Specialty: Med/Surge and Emergency Department.

Units: Spine, Ortho, Renal, Medical Telemetry Observation, Adult Med/Surge, General Medicine, General Surgery (post op), Neurosciences, Pulmonary, Staffing Pool, ED, ICU, Medical Cardiology Step Down.

Summary:
  • You will enjoy meaningful learning opportunities and networking opportunities with your peers in a cohort setting.
    You will complete new employee orientation and unit orientation (10 - 12 weeks).
    You will complete 5-6 weeks of didactic training including clinical orientation, relevant certification courses, high-fidelity simulation, EMR training, and a variety of e-learning. Your schedule will be Monday-Friday 40 hours per week during this time.
    You will complete 5-6 weeks of clinical training on the unit with a dedicated preceptor. Your schedule is 32 hours per week, and working on your preceptor's schedule
Experience/License/Certification:
  • Should have an associate/bachelor's degree in Nursing.
    New grads accepted with or without RN License.
    You need to have your passed NCLEX results or scheduled to take NCLEX.
    You must not have any current or prior experience working as an acute care hospital Registered Nurse.
    You must be flexible to commit to a full-time Registered Nurse position for a two-year commitment period.
