EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS ASSISTANT PLANNER FRCOG seeks charismatic, resilient, enthusiastic individual to join our Emergency Preparedness program
The program supports FRCOG, its members and partners, and the W
MA Health & Medical Coalition, to prepare for, respond to, and recover from, natural and manmade disasters and emerging infectious disease
We provide advocacy, planning, and cooperative services proactively and in direct response to our communities' needs
The right candidate possesses flexibility to engage a variety of projects/tasks, willingness to learn, and an interest in planning for all-hazard emergency management, climate adaptation, and local/regional resilience
Aptitude for building and maintaining relationships w/ different groups/coalitions and government partners strongly desired
Position regularly contacts partners and occasionally presents to groups
Three yrs experience in emergency management, regional planning, public health, public administration, or equivalent work; or a BS in planning, public health, emergency management, public administration; or equivalent combination of ed and experience
FT (37.5 hrs/wk) w/ hybrid work options possible
Occasional eve/wkend hrs w/ mandatory 24/7 on-call duty approx
1 wk/mo
Hrly pay range starts at $28.50; final offer based on experience
