Nurse Practitioner (Mobile Wound Care) - Minneapolis, MN

Job Type: Full-time, Travel nursing, Contract, Permanent

Shift Details: Flexible Schedule (Days - 20hrs/week)

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team and provide Mobile Wound Care services.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient visits in the comfort of their homes, ensuring a high level of care and compassion.

• See 8-10 patients per day, maintaining a focus on wound care and overall health assessment. Reserve paid half a day for thorough charting and documentation.

• Adapt to changes in healthcare protocols, technologies, and patient needs to provide the best care possible.

• Utilize critical thinking skills to develop personalized care plans and make informed clinical decisions.

• Diagnose wound conditions and associated health issues accurately. Collect wound cultures when necessary for diagnostic purposes.

Qualification/Experience:

• Graduated from a nurse practitioner education program acceptable to Minnesota.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner.

• Experience in wound care is a plus but not required, formal wound care education will be provided.

License/Certifications:

• Nurse Practitioner State MN Licensure

• DEA Certification
