Position Title: Surgery Registered Nurse - Full Time (FT)

Department: Surgery

Reports to: Director of Surgery

Nature of Work

York General is looking for a RN, LPN, or Certified Medical Assistant that is interested in providing our community with specialty care close to home. If you're flexible, a good multi-tasker, and are intrigued by the vast areas of medicine available at York General, this would be a great opportunity for you

What You'll Do

  • Assist physicians with examinations and minor procedures in the Specialty Clinic
  • Assure that services such as lab work, other diagnostic procedures, surgery, therapy services and other treatments are scheduled appropriately for patients
  • Assess patient needs for information and instruction
  • Provide patient teaching as needed.

What You Need

  • Good communication skills, flexibility, and multi-tasking abilities
  • Must possess current RN, LPN licensure or CMA certification in the state of Nebraska
  • Certified in BLS
