We are looking for an RN to work on our 6-bed hybrid Stroke/Stepdown unit. This unit will offer a challenging and fast-paced environment to the motivated professional. This position will work with both stroke patients and stepdown patients. Patients will typically have diagnosis ranging from TIAs, CVAs, respiratory distress, sepsis, renal failure, and DKA, just to name a few. These patients require a higher level of monitoring and may include titrating drips. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:3 and allows the nurse to collaborate with the healthcare team, patients, and family members for a coordinated plan of care. Support staff are available to maximize and compliment the team. Orientation consists of approximately 16 weeks for new graduates and includes cross training to ICU.
