Association House of Chicago is currently hiring a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) in Chicago, Illinois who has a passion for bettering the lives of others in Community Mental Health.

As anRN, you will be responsible for the direct and indirect care of patients by conducting nursing assessments and providing case management to persons with severe mental illness or co-occurring disorders both on-site and in the community.

Job Duties:
• Conduct nursing assessments both on-site and in the community to provide a written summary of health conditions and problems requiring medication care or consultation
• Observe assigned participants, collect vitals, record significant conditions and reactions, and notify supervisor or physician of participant's condition and reaction to drugs, treatments, and significant incidents
• Complete all documentation of services in an accurate, complete, and timely manner and follows agency, program, and Medicaid Rule 140 requirements

Job Requirements:
• Nursing degree from accredited university/college required
• Valid Illinois RN license required
• 1+ years of experience working with persons with psychiatric disorders and dual-diagnosis required
• Valid driver's license required
