Position Summary:

As a Registered Nurse (RN) in our General Medical unit, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with established policies and procedures. This position requires a strong commitment to patient advocacy, clinical expertise, and effective communication.

ABOUT OUR UNITMedical has 26 private rooms, our primary patient population includes a little of everything Including diabetes, sepsis, pancreatitis, GI bleeds, small bowel obstructions, pneumonia, alcohol withdrawal, substance abuse disorders, wounds/abscess/cellulitis and many others. We also take overflow from our sister units, Cardiopulmonary and Surgical.• Nurse Ratio: 1:5 (1:4 with high acuity)• CNA Ratio: 1:8• Telehealth Nurse Support in Every Room• EKG Monitoring

Medical-Surgical Certification: After two years of practice we encourage and support all of our staff in getting their med-surg certification. Qualifications

* Education: Associates or Bachelors Degree in Nursing
* Experience: 1+ years' experience
* Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice
