As a key member of our team, you’ll provide the day-to-day leadership, support, and execution of project controls functions for several projects including a large project located in Yonkers, NY where you would be based. g. You’ll report directly to the Jacobs Resident Engineer and Project Manager but manage and solely be responsible to oversee and manage all project and program budget/cost controls, schedule review and analysis, change management, reporting functions, updates, and presentations to all levels of management with Jacobs and the client.Join us and we will assist in continuing the development of your skills and exploring all that you can do across our global company, with opportunities to share your knowledge along the way.Responsibilities:Oversee the preparation of project monthly reports, weekly change management reports and the program’s online dashboardAbility to create and update CPM schedules in P6 Support and lead the team on all project budget, funding, and invoice related issuesDevelop and evaluate major program cost estimates and extended budget projections to identify and quantify critical budgetary, cost, schedule, technical, and programmatic risk factorsCollaboratively work with the CM/REs and AREs on issues regarding change management and schedule. Oversee project budget/cost management (e.g., project cost and commitments tracking, project cost forecast, labor, and other direct costs monitoring Utilize the Jacobs PMs and CMs to champion your leadership for overall change management processes Review or Create contract Work Orders/Field Orders/Purchase Orders, independent cost estimates, requisitions, and other procurement functions as neededParticipate in program/project progress and status review meetingsCommunicate schedule status on a regular basis via formal and informal meetings and reportsContribute to the development of new techniques and standardsIndependently apply advanced techniques and analysisReview vendor and CM invoices and pay applicationsJacobs health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations [add if remote]. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or trainingQualifications·       NYC DEP Project Experience ·       Substantial professional years of project cost controls and project/construction management experience·       Bachelor degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or equivalent relevant work experience·       Professional experience with Primavera P6 scheduling projects, programs, and portfolios·       Experience in cost engineering functions, including cost estimating, cost control, change management, risk management, cost analysis and variance analysis·       Ability to develop and evaluate major program cost estimates and extended budget projections to identify and quantify critical budgetary, cost, schedule, technical, and programmatic risk factors·       Experience building and maintaining Primavera P6 resource loaded schedules·        Experience building and maintaining Primavera P6 cost loaded schedules supporting forecasting and multi-year planning·       Program or  Construction Management related experience ·       PE, CCM, PMP or related certification a Plus
