Job Summary:

Charlottesville, VA

Interim HealthCare is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate PICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Charlottesville, Virginia. ). This is a full-time contracted position with a pay rate of $58 per hour with day and night shift availability. You must have 2 years of recent and relevant experience.

Compensation & Benefits:

Responsibilities:

* Provide direct patient care in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), including recognizing and responding to changes in the patient's condition
* Monitor and document patient progress and treatments
* Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for each patient
* Administer medication and treatments as prescribed by the physician
* Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment plans, and follow-up care
* Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documents
* Adhere to all hospital and nursing standards, policies, and procedures

Requirements:

* Active RN license in the state of Virginia
* Minimum of 1 year of recent PICU experience
* BLS and PALS certifications
* Excellent clinical and critical thinking skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
